Other Peoples' Blogs

They're out there. And they're more interesting than mine! I just read a post by Kara Roy that was really good. Simple and to the point but totally hitting home... http://brc-adidas.blogspot.com/2011/02/choice.html. I don't think I've ever been in quite the same position but maybe something similar and regardless, I think all runners can relate to what she says. It's the first blog post I've seen from the BRC team but it looks like all members contribute to it and I bet they'll have some good things to say.

There are a few others out there that I've enjoyed reading so I thought I'd share a little list:

1. I mentioned this one a few weeks ago. Runner's Roost just started a blog that has tons of good info including some race highlights and tips from pros: http://blog.runnersroost.com/blog/

2. Seven Ribbons is an adventurous and unique foundation raising breast cancer awareness (check it: http://www.sevenribbons.com/cancerawareness/Home.html).has The website has a blog about running, triathlons, mountaineering (did you know that one of the Seven Summits, Mt. Elbrus, is closed due to terrorist activity??), goal setting, charities and all sorts of good stuff: http://www.sevenribbons.com/cancerawareness/Blog/Blog.html

3. My buddy Brooks is also rather adventurous. He's an ultramarathoner and his blog is all about his sometimes crazy runs and encounters with wildlife. And sometimes beer. http://brookswilliams.blogspot.com/

4. My friend and teammate Sara is just way too cute and funny and her posts are always really positive: http://gorunsome.blogspot.com/

I'm still kind of new to all this so I don't know of a ton of blogs just yet, but as I find some more I'll be sure to share!
