A friend just posted this on my Facebook page:
"1 in 1,000 run a marathon, you are amazing" I'm not sure if that statistic is exact but it's at the very least a good estimate. Marathons are beasts! If you're among the few who have put sweat, tears, pain, blood, and heart into one, I think you're pretty awesome.
Can't wait til the next one!
1 in 100 = 1%

So it could be "you're among the .001 of people..." or "you're among the 0.1% who's put..."
Sorry to be a stickler, because the sentiment is a good one.
